City of Garland Adoption Fees

For pets that have been spayed/neutered, the following fees apply:

• Dogs, cats, puppies and kittens that have been previously spayed/neutered - $35
• Microchip - $25

For pets that have not been spayed/neutered, the following fees apply:

• Dogs, cats, puppies and kittens that have not yet been spayed/neutered - $80
• Microchip - $25

All prices include sterilization by our city veterinarian and rabies vaccination.

SHELTER OPERATIONS:

Garland Animal Services accepts both walk-ins and appointments.  Please call 972-205-3570, option 2 to make your appointment or come visit us at 1902 State Highway 66, Garland.

If your pet has gone missing, please visit the lost pet section. In the event you believe you see your pet online, please call the shelter with the ID of the pet and make an appointment.

If we do not answer the phone, please leave a voicemail with your name and phone number. We WILL call you back as soon as possible.

Pet Adoption Fee Waiver Program

• Free adoption for active duty military, veterans, and Reserve personnel.
• Free adoption for City of Garland employees which includes Police and Fire.
• Adoption fee waived for Garland Citizens on their birthday.
• Adoption fee waived for Seniors (70 plus).
• Adoption fee waived for Garland ISD employees.
