The arts have played a vital role in the enhancement of the quality of life in Garland. Granville Arts Center

The Granville Arts complex attracts more than 170,000 patrons per year with two-thirds coming from all over the region. The center houses two elegant proscenium theatres that accommodate everything from Broadway touring shows to symphony concerts. The center also includes The Atrium and the Plaza Theatre. The Atrium is a banquet hall that seats 450. The Atrium provides a magnificent setting for special events such as wedding receptions, fundraisers and conventions. The Atrium's luxurious glass-lined lobby covers more than 3,100 square feet. The 6,500 square-foot banquet hall is encased in glass on two sides and opens onto a spacious courtyard. The elegant Plaza Theatre is located on the square in downtown Garland. From the spacious domes lobby area guest enter the art deco style 350 seat theatre: the perfect setting for the finest in stage productions, concerts, business meetings, receptions and all other special events.
