Repairing a Parking Lot

Installing a Parking Lot

When installing a concrete parking lot and you are disturbing 5,000 square feet or more of dirt, a pre-submittal meeting is required prior to the issuance of a permit. You may contact the City's Planning Department at 972-205-2445 for details on pre-submittal meetings.

When installing a concrete parking lot and you are disturbing less than 5,000 square feet of dirt, you may fill out the Parking Lot Application above and submit it at the Building Inspection Department, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m, Monday through Friday at:

A 25% processing fee is due at the time of permit submittal. Please submit four sets of plans with at least one of them being 11 inches by 17 inches (executive-size paper).

Sidewalk & Approach Repair/Installation

Sidewalk repair / installation adjacent to public streets done without a building permit $65 ($50 plus a $15 processing fee). Approach repair / installation done without a building permit: $65 ($50 plus a $15 processing fee).

For any repair or installation, please complete the Sidewalk and Approach Application at the top of the page. City sidewalk repair/installation also requires a Sidewalk Bond to be filed with the City.

Sidewalk and Approach Repair/Installation must meet City Standards.
